Project Summary
Beijing Yizhuang data center of CEICloud is the first green IDC & cloud service layout by CEICloud in China and the first demonstration center of cloud storage of optimal-magnetic hybrid storage as well as the first demonstration center for quantum security communications in China.
CEICloud Yizhuang data center is located in Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone (BDA), with a total construction area of about 70000 square meters and structures to resist 8 grades of earthquake, which can accommodate 10,000+ cabinets. The construction refers to the national Level A computer room standard and the Uptime T3/T4 standard, matching with adequate supply of dual power supply, which can maximally meet the customer's customized requirements.
 
Location
It is 20 kilometers away from Tiananmen, 40 kilometers from the Capital International Airport and 18 kilometers from Beijing South Railway Station. It nears the southeast Fifth Ring road of Beijing, the Beijing-Shanghai Expressway and the Yizhuang subway line, so the transportation is convenient.
Building
● Industrial building with reinforced concrete structures
● The load in the first floor is larger than 10KN/㎡ and the loads in the second and third floors are 10 KN/㎡ and 8 KN/㎡ separately.
● One grade of fire resistance and 8 grades of seismic resistance
● New fireproof insulation materials are used in all exterior walls, which meets the standards for energy saving buildings.
UPS
● High power factor and high efficiency UPS power supply equipment.
● Two UPS parallel systems, i.e. 2+1 and 3+1
● 12 V maintenance free lead-acid battery is used to ensure UPS full load continuous operation for 15 minutes.
● Independent battery room. Each UPS uses two groups of online exchangeable batteries.
Cooling system
● Two physically independent cold stations are interconnected via an annular main pipe on the floor.
● Ring pipe design can maintain and replace any pipe fittings and equipment online.
● 3+1 independent chiller system in each cold station includes the independent transformer, cooling water pump, chilled water pump, cooling tower and plate heat exchanger.
● Closing cold channels can improve the cooling effects and energy utilization efficiency.
● Precision air conditioning is designed by using N+2 redundancy and UPS double power supply.
● Independent humidification and dehumidification design.
Electric power system
■ City electricity access
● Two lines of city electricity from two independent 110KV substations are accessed.
● Set up two separate power supply dividing rooms and two independent open and close stations.
● A distributed layout close to the load is used in the owner distribution room.
■ Generator Unit
● 10 KV medium voltage generator unit is used for parallel operation.
● Two sets of independent back-up diesel heating systems can be used in parallel or independently.
● N+1 redundancy setting is used in each power station, which can operate for 24 hours with full load.
● Setting dedicated test load.
Modular and flexible design

● More than 50 computer room modules can be customized according to customer requirements and can be distributed.

● T3/T4 level are optional.

● Independent channels for personnel and equipment access.
● Unpacking areas are set outside computer room.
● Independent regional facilities for operation and maintenance.
Power distribution system
■ Power distribution supply
● High efficiency Dyn11 energy-saving power transformer.
● Automatic metering technology is adopted to meet the on-demand allocation and supply of power resources.
● Using intelligent PDU, hot plug switch, power monitoring and equipping with isolation transformer.
Fire-extinguishing system
● IG541 environmental protection gas fire-extinguishing system is used in all modules in the computer room, power distribution room, battery room, open and shut station and generator room.
● Installing extremely early smoke detection alarm system.
● Pre-acting water spraying fire extinguishing system is used in the public areas.
● Fire smoke detection and temperature detection system are installed in all directions.
Internet access
● Multiple entry fiber optic routing for physical isolation allocated in the park.
● 12 separate rooms for operator accessing network.
● Modules in each computer room are equipped with two optical fiber cables.
Physical safety
● Perimeter alarm system and camera dynamic capture video recording system are set in the park.
● High-definition cameras without dead angle are installed in all corners of the building and inside the building.
● Setting up four levels of safety zone control in the park, the computer room, the modules in computer machine room and the equipment room as well as the cold channels of cabinets. Graduation authorization management is used for access control.
● Strict security procedures are maintained for personnel and equipment access.
